Hiya, I'm Jess!
I'm an environmental activist and multimedia professional specializing in graphic design (print + digital), data visualization, project management, writing, and research. I'm interested in working at both the local and national policy-making levels, fighting for ocean and climate justice, Indigenous sovereignty, divestment from fossil fuels, shutting down the Dakota Access and Line 3 pipelines, and stopping IUU fishing.
I'm particularly passionate about the role the creative arts and design can play in coastal resiliency, community building, climate migration, and ocean restoration. I believe that environmental justice is inextricably linked to the health of the Earth and support policies that protect both people and planet. My activism is rooted in collective action, equity, radical empathy, humor, and the belief that a better world is possible.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drexel University with a bachelor’s in communication, a minor in fine art, and a master’s in culture and media. I was recently accepted into Penn State University’s Master Watershed Steward certification program to be completed in Fall 2021.
